Our client in the FMCG industry is currently looking for a Project Manager, in Kinshasa. Responsibilities: Project Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones. Project Execution and Control: Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline. Oversee, materials, and services required for factory construction and operation. Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. Regularly report project status to senior management, highlighting key achievements, issues, and recommended solutions. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of project goals. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse project team, providing guidance, coaching, and support as required. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. Conduct regular team meetings, monitor individual performance, and facilitate professional development opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the Manufacturing industry, with a focus on greenfield projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
